Military Experience:

• Dental officer for the Rhode Island Air National Guard Reserves (2009- present)
• US Navy Dental Officer at the Naval Health Clinic New England, Groton, CT. (2006-2009)
  - Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for meritorious achievement as the clinical director (Division Officer) for the General Dentistry Department.
• US Navy Dental Officer at the Branch Dental Clinic Sigonella, Sicily, Italy. (2002-2006)

Dr. Petropoulos lives in Mystic with his wife Christina and their 3 children. They enjoy traveling around the world. They spend time in Montreal, Canada where Christina is from, and Athens, Greece where Demetrios grew up. Demetrios speaks fluent Greek and intermediate Italian. H enjoys swimming, biking, playing soccer, and basketball.

Education:

• Indiana University and Ball University graduating with a B.S. in Biology.
• Tufts Dental School -Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) 2002.
• Joined the Navy and completed his Dental Residency at Camp Lejuene, North Carolina with the 2nd Marine Division.

Military Experience:

• Navy Dental officer with the U.S. Navy 2002-2008.
• Navy Active Reservist with the U.S. Navy 2008-present.
• General Dentist/Dental Director- New London Community Health Center 2008-2013

Dr. Heil lives in Groton, CT with his wife Johanna, a fellow dentist and their three kids. Ed was born in New York City, New York but grew up in Southern Germany. He speaks fluent German. They enjoy traveling with their three children. Ed also enjoys fishing, skiing, mountain biking, camping and wood working.
